A while ago I proposed a PirateBox for TeachMeet. Several folk (@nwinton, @carolinebreyley, @jdeyenberg, @owexelstein, @DavidDMuir, @dajbelshaw, @drewburrett, @parslad and @don_iain) responded to my plea for a fiver to help buy a router to act as a piratebox.

I was intending that the box should be launched at the Scottish Learning Festival TeachMeet tomorrow night.

Unfortunatly wanting the best value for money, when I bought the router on Amazon I failed to notice that it was shipping from the USA. I still expected it to arrive in time, especially as yesterday was talk like a pirate day, but it has not shown up.

I now hope the pirate box will sail at TeachMeet Strathclyde on Wednesday 26th October 2011.
